![]() The first load of washing I put in took around 6 hours to be bone dry. Ok, so I've had the Dri Buddy for a little while now so I feel I can give a well informed review on its performance. It cost me less to buy and going by other reviews costs less to run and it has also reduced my ironing pile! :-) Ive yet to see how I get on this winter but fingers crossed it will help so I dont have so much wet washing hanging around the house. We do have room for a tumble dryer in our kitchen but at the moment I am happy to have the Dri Buddi. I probably hang less items than I could get away with sometims. You just have to be sensible on how you hang the items to get the best results. For a large family I cant see it working if it was the only means of drying. All in all I think it would work well for one to two people or to help if you had a baby and lots of their clothes to get dry.I also think it would be good for use in a flat or somewhere if you are short of space. There are only two of us so we dont have the washing of a large family. Dried in about half an hour with no need for ironing. The second load was one bath towel, two hand towels and two pillow cases (there was still room for smaller items). It was fully dry in less than an hour and with no need for ironing has gone away. The first load was one double quilt and two pillow cases (there was still room for smaller items). Today Im using the Dri Buddi for some items I hung on the airer outside late afternoon and are not quite dry. I also use the multi hangers with the little pegs to dry underwear. You dont have to use just child size hangers. I use a mixture of hanger type and sizes. You need to allow the hot air to circulate easily. Personally I hang as many items as I can as long as they do not touch each other or the sides/bottom of the Dry Buddi (10-14 items obviously depends on size). Yes I agree with other reviews that it is diffcult to hang 18 items of clothing and dry them properly. Again most things dont need ironing and can go straight away. On colder/rainy days the washing has a double spin and if its a large load I put some things on the airer first (mostly on hangers) and the others go straight in the Dr Buddi. Most of the items dont need ironing and can go straight away. Later if necessary I use the Dri Buddi as an airing cupboard just to make sure the washing is completely dry. On sunny days the washing has a double spin and then goes outside (mostly on hangers on my airers). Reading all the reviews both good and bad it took me a while to decide but its been the right decision for me so far. ![]() ![]() To learn more about how and for what purposes Amazon uses personal information (such as Amazon Store order history), please visit our Privacy Notice.
